Akila is a 9 year old pitbull in need of a quiet loving home with no other animals. She currently lives in a two adult household but is struggling to adjust to our new baby. Although she is not a fan of other animals she is energetic and loves going on long walks/runs, playing fetch, and tug of war. She struggles with separation anxiety when she isn’t active enough and does best in her crate when left alone. We adopted her a little over a year ago and she knows only basic commands like “sit”, “shake”, “stay”, “crate” and “place”. Her recall isn’t the best and she loves eating sour grass and any “snacks” she finds on the ground so she does need to be muzzled during walks for her safety.
