About the animal:
Meet Lulu! She is loving, loyal and serious best friend quality. She is a German Shepherd/Border Collie mix and has a fabulous white-socked paw (see photos for details). Although she had a rough start (came to SF based shelter via the streets of Fresno as a puppy), Lulu loves life and just needs to find her perfect home. While she loves fetch, she is also just as content to lay underneath your chair for hours. She loves walks, is excellent at commands including “place,” and loves to be pet. She doesn’t have separation anxiety, is crate-trained, and has excellent house manners. She takes a little time to warm up to new people – however once that happens, she will welcome you into her circle forever. In order to be her best self, Lulu needs to be in a home without young children and be either the only dog or with a low-energy dog companion. She would benefit to be with someone interested in continuing her training as she is super smart and motivated to learn.
