Of course, we are still learning about not jumping up on the counter and not biting the cord/ humans, but what a smart kitty Whiskey is -he knows that when I have to leave the apartment, I can throw treats in the middle of the room and he’ll go and hunt for them. Greetings Volunteers, We were able to host the first community clinic of 2024 last Saturday, right before the atmospheric river hit! We’d like to extend our appreciation to the host facility, St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, for allowing us to use their multi-purpose room, a perfect set-up in case of rain! We provided brief exams, rabies/DA2PP/FVRCP, microchips, and other supplies to 71 guardians and their 100 pets (70 dogs and 30 cats)! We couldn't have provided this valuable service without the following folks who donated their time at Saturday’s clinic: Dr. AJ Pheils (Country Vet), Betzy Shears-Hills [...]

100 Cat Challenge — Goal Reached!

By |2024-01-10T14:01:39-08:00January 10, 2024|Blog, Happy Endings|

We're thrilled to share that we met our goal of 100 cat adoptions during November and December 🥳 Thanks to a wonderful supporter who left us a generous bequest, we were able to waive the adoption fees for 100 adult cats. This member of our Legacy Society was committed to shining a light on adult and senior cats, especially after a busy (and lengthy!) kitten season.
