Homemade Treats for the Animals

Sadie and Aashna, and their gaggle of friends Penelope, Anaya, Juniper, Sophie and Claire recently held a bake sale at Marinwood Park.  Selling an assortment of delicious cookies and treats, they raised $232 for the animals of Marin Humane. Thank you, Sadie, Aashna and friends for your hard work and generosity!

Each semester, Marin Humane welcomes a group of students into our Student Service Clubs. These animal-loving students spend the semester learning about Marin Humane become animal advocates through their work. Middle and high school students in the Junior and Senior Roots & Shoots clubs develop a community service project to guide their semester. These clubs are part of the national Roots & Shoots program started by Dr. Jane Goodall.
