We adopted Millie from MHS about a week ago to add to our current flock of 7 hens. Millie is a Mille Fleur d’Uccle bantam that was brought in as a stray. Sadly her owners never come forward, but she was obviously hand raised and well taken care of. I want her old family to know that we adore her and will continue to spoil her as you did.
She comes to her name, often makes her way inside the house, stands next to the dogs waiting for her treats, jumps up on our laps and shoulders and has instantly worked her charm and her way into our hearts. The other hens aren’t so sure yet, but they too will come around in time 😉
