Marin Humane is a special place. In addition to helping find forever homes for companion animals, we are also provide the animal services for Marin County.

Our Animal Services Officers are on the frontlines of helping both domestic and wild animals in our community. Officers respond to complaints, inspect cruelty cases, enforce county ordinances, and assist with animal emergencies all while representing Marin Humane and educating the public.

Typically, our Humane Education Coordinator schedules Officer Talks with local schools during which an Animal Services Officer will visit a group with their truck and talk about their job.

Since we are sheltering in place, our Humane Education Coordinator has created a virtual presentation so you can meet an officer in the comfort of your home. So, get comfortable and get ready to learn about what our Animal Services Officers do!
