About the animal:
Nova was dumped in Oakland along with 11 other cats. Before we could intervene, this very young girl became a mom and had to raise a litter while still practically a baby herself. But Nova made it through. After raising her kittens, she was spayed and faced another unexpected challenge, internal bleeding that required a second emergency surgery. Our girl pulled through and came back stronger than ever.
Now it’s finally Nova’s turn.
She is a mellow, friendly young cat who loves pets, gets along with other cats, and definitely still has a playful side. And if you really want to win her heart? Bring out the freeze-dried chicken. Nova has spent enough of her young life surviving and taking care of others. We’re looking for someone who can give her what she deserves now: love, care, compassion, and a safe home of her own.
She is ready.
