Agility Fun Match – Saturday, Sep. 26, 2026, 3:30-7:30pm at Marin Humane

Bring your agility energy along with plenty of pawsitivity and enjoy some fun for both you and your dog. The dogs will be flying as they wag their tails around 2 or 4 different courses designed for novice teams to practice their skills in a trial-like environment. Instructors will be available to act as a judge, but no scoring or prizes will be offered. This event is open to dogs one year and older. Dogs must be able to do the equipment safely and be off leash within the fenced ring area. Toys, hand-delivered treats and lavish praise are encouraged in the ring.

Dudley Shumate Agility Seminar at Marin Humane – Oct. 16-18, 2026

Learn from the best of the best in the agility world, Dudley Shumate. She and her pups have 12 National Championships between USA and Canada, and last year she was crowned world champion as part of Team USA competing at the European Open.

Dudley’s teaching style and philosophy are similar to her ideas on handling: “I provide choices and stress consistencies. I encourage students to think for themselves and create fluent communication for each pup. My goal as a trainer, competitor, and my pups’ best friend is to create a fluence of “language” while having a great time! I believe in thinking about why things work and practicing with intention so I can let all that go and be totally in the moment when it’s time to shine.”

Friday and Saturday seminars are limited to 6 Working spots and 10 Audit spots. The Sunday full-day seminar is limited to 8 Working spots and 10 Audit spots.
