Nose Work

Nose Work (AKA scent work or scent detection) is a fun dog sport that mimics professional detection activities. This easy-to-learn activity builds confidence and focus, while providing mental and physical stimulation. Dogs work one at a time, which is especially great for reactive dogs and helps build a strong relationship between handler and dog.

There are no prerequisites for Nose Work Introduction. Dogs must be comfortable in a crate or on a leash behind a barrier with other dogs in the room (not visible), as all dogs must be confined when not working. If you and your dog have taken Nose Work classes elsewhere, you may take a placement test to join our advanced classes.
