Separation Anxiety

Does your dog panic when left alone at home? This distress may take the form of persistent vocalization, house-soiling, destruction, or more subtle behaviors like excessive drooling, panting, or pacing. However it’s expressed, your dog’s panic response to alone time is stressful for your dog and for you, often limiting lives radically.

We use a panic-free process of systematic desensitization to teach your dog that alone time is safe. No crates, no food puzzles, no punishment. Learn more about separation anxiety and our approach.

How Separation Anxiety Training Works

  • We start with a free 15-minute discovery call with a separation anxiety specialist. You tell us about your dog’s alone-time behavior and your goals, and learn about training and management options.
  • If we determine separation anxiety training could benefit your dog, we will invite you to register for our Separation Anxiety Get Started Package.
  • Each training package spans four weeks and includes five training plans per week.
  • Separation anxiety is rarely solved in four weeks. You can renew in packages of four weeks each, as many times as you need.

Your Commitment

  • During training you manage your absences so your dog is never left alone.
  • Follow training plans on your own and write notes for your trainer four days a week.
  • Schedule a live Zoom session with your trainer once a week.
