Some dogs are born sensitive, others missed out on critical socialization. Many of these dogs are smaller, but big pups can be shy, too. The behavior may look like hiding or fleeing (a flight response), barking or acting scary (fight), or freezing or cowering (freeze). Whatever the particulars, we can help teach your dog that the world is not so scary and give you tools for working with your dog’s nature instead of against it.
