In July of 2021, Hopalong Animal Rescue officially joined Marin Humane and tails have been wagging ever since. With Hopalong’s network of loving foster homes, their connections to shelters throughout California, and their awesome adoption outposts, they’re helping Marin Humane make more lives happy than ever before!

Buddy is a very special pup looking for a very special adopter. This sweet, 7-year-old spaniel mix with the heart-melting eyes is a very sensitive, anxious boy who needs a lot of patience, understanding, and gentle attention.

Buddy's foster calls him "a cuddle bug and a great couch companion." But it takes Buddy quite a while to warm up to new people, and though he's getting better with anxiety medication, we know he'll need lots of time to adjust to life in a new home. He needs someone with the patience to wait for him to come out of his shell in his own time.

One thing that helps Buddy quite a lot? Living with other social dogs who are about his size. He currently lives with a few fellow small dogs and he loooves to do zoomies with them in the yard! We think having another dog in the house will be crucial for Buddy's success, so if you have social small dogs at home, Buddy would love to meet you!

Joss is a gorgeous boy looking for a chill, cat-savvy home. Bonus points if that home has a safe outdoor space, like an enclosed garden or patio (or catio)! A little supervised outdoor stimulation makes Joss an extra happy boy.

Joss starts out a little shy but after some wand toy play he warms up, and you'll soon see him rolling around on the floor or rubbing on legs asking for affection. He's also quite the conversationalist!

Joss is about 2 years old and ready for his forever family to come along. Give us a call at 415-506-6225 to meet him!
