First Place: Moby & Jac
Here’s what Moby & Jac’s family has to say: Moby and Jac came to us from Hopalong Animal Rescue, both foster fails! They were the absolute best boys. Legends, each in their own way; they met in 2021 and became fast friends, spending many, many afternoons together, napping and barking at the neighbors. Moby outlasted his expiration date by a few years, and Jac left us earlier than expected – we miss them both so much every day.

Second Place: Johnathan & Bernard
Here’s what Johnathan & Bernard’s family has to say: Johnny and Bernie are both from Marin Humane. Johnny is extremely loving and adventurous, while Bernie is extremely outgoing and sweet. Their favorite pastime is wrestling with each other and running like madmen through the house!

Third Place: Henry
Here’s what Herny’s family has to say: Meet Henry! Five years ago, I adopted Henry from Marin Humane. When we first met, he was a very scared dog. It was a challenging journey to help Henry feel safe and build trust, but the incredible staff never gave up on him. Bringing him home was one of the best decisions I’ve made. It took time, patience, and a lot of love to help him build confidence. Today, Henry is a happy, loving, and adventurous dog. One of the reasons I adopted him was to be a companion for my older dog, and they’ve become the best of friends. Watching Henry grow from a frightened dog into a confident and joyful companion has been an incredible gift. I’m so grateful to this shelter for giving him the chance he deserved. Henry’s story reminds me that sometimes the dogs who need the most patience have the biggest hearts to share.
