Roadrunner came to our Novato campus last spring after he was found stray on the side of a road. Luckily, thanks to support from our donors, we were able to give him all the time he needed to find a loving home. While he was at Marin Humane, we discovered that Roadrunner enjoyed all sorts of toys, and our staff and volunteers noticed he loved pets. He also received a medical exam, vaccinations, and was neutered.

While we were getting to know Roadrunner, our adoptions team went to work trying to find a family who would give him a loving and safe home. Two months after Roadrunner arrived, a local family interested in adopting a bunny reached out. They took Roadrunner home on a trial “foster to adopt” basis to make sure he was right for their family… and they quickly fell head over heels in love!

Roadrunner now goes by “Rodeo”, and he makes his family so happy. He spends his days playing and cuddling with his family or going on walks safely contained in his bunny stroller. As 12-year-old Emi puts it, “He is the sweetest and the best thing that has happened to me all year. We love him so much and he is part of our family!”

Rodeo would not have found his family if he hadn’t been brought to Marin Humane, and if we weren’t able to provide him with all the care and time he needed. Indeed, he is just one example of lives made happy through donor support. Thank you!
