We have two sweet guinea pigs who are sisters that we’ve had for two years. We are rehoming because my daughter has grown up some and no longer has the time to give them the attention that they deserve. They would do wonderfully in a home with a child who is responsible probably of the age of seven or eight or older, and who is looking for a companion. We will provide their cage, reusable bedding, water bottle, and can supply with some hay and pellets and explain how to take care of them. They don’t require any veterinary care on a regular basis and they’ve never gotten sick in our hands. In captivity guinea pigs typically live 5 to 8 years.
