How to Adopt
Let’s work together and find the animal that’s the best fit for your family! The first step is to contact us. We’ll complete the process remotely, including payment of the adoption fee. When you pick up your new family member, we’ll ask you to follow specific safety protocols to minimize your interactions with our staff.
We’re here to answer all your questions – after all, we’ve spent time getting to know each critter with whiskers, wagging tails, and floppy ears. And we’re professional match makers.
We can’t wait to be a part of your happily ever after.

Where to adopt
At our Novato Campus you meet dogs and cats of course, but you can also meet our smallest friends waiting to find their forever homes, like guinea pigs, rabbits, and rats. We even have reptiles and birds!
Kitty Corner is our satellite adoption location dedicated to all things feline. Located in San Anselmo, it’s the tiny but mighty place to meet kittens and cats. We also have special adoption outposts there for dogs on occasion, and even host a monthly “Hoppy Hour” where you can meet adorable bunnies.
But there is more! When the weather permits, we like to take our adoptable critters on the road. We participate in a variety of adoption outposts throughout the county and beyond!
